Hapless & Helpless

Germany has in many ways become a country full of discontent, frustration, resentment and increased aggression. Culprits are searched for, complaints are expressed, people appear more lethargic and miss a certain anchorage.

Social eminence gained through material possessions is less significant, a replacement with new, emotional elements has remained absent. Indifference to the affairs of others, politics, crises and altruistic society has become widespread.

In Germany, much occurs subliminally. Equality is often presented but structures are far from egalitarian. German travellers enjoy the behavioural patterns witnessed abroad without implementing them upon their return. And an almost fatalistic envy plays an enormous role in society.

A conviction that a remedy is possible is missing and the level of self esteem seems to have sunk to an all time low.
