Now this might seem to be the tough one. It could actually turn out to be quite the contrary and reveal itself as incredibly simple. So who are our known strangers? The social sciences speak of those people who are on the edge of our daily activities.
The postman or postwoman, the rubbish collector, bus driver, employee in the supermarket, and so on. We all come into contact with people in these or similar functions who are able to affect us. The social sciences also refer to the surprisingly strong infuence they have on our lives and our wellbeing.
